A watergram is a cameraless photographic technique which captures light and moving water on silver gelatin. Siân has explored and pushed the boundaries of this technique through study at The School of Light in Los Angeles, and then through further experiments from her home in Somerset.

Incursio is a Latin word meaning an onrush, an attack; an invasion or incursion. In this series, Incursio is the attack of plastic in our waterways. In this image, the movement and pattern of the water’s surface is almost completely stifled by the covering of plastic, directly highlighting the environmental changes brought about by pollution.
