AK6 Greenfinch

One of a series of small, embroidered studies featuring birds from the British Trust for Ornithology Red list.
This little greenfinch can occasionally be seen in our gardens as well as open woodland and farmland. Their numbers began declining during the 1970’s and 80’s.
The background is formed from seed stitch and a silver painted circle, the circle represents our need to shine a spotlight on the plight of such birds.
