Pure wool hat by Buffy Fletcher. Buffy lives on the edge of the Mendips near Wells where she designs and makes her own range of exclusive knitwear in wool, silk, linen and other natural fibres. Buffy designs garments using simple traditional shapes such as shepherds smocks. Her emphasis is on using colour and pattern to give a new and distinctive feel to traditional ideas.
She is self-taught, though her fascination with textiles has resulted in a lifetime of experimentation with spinning, weaving, and hand knitting.
