• Teach you free machine embroidery and how to stitch to create a 3d effect

Essential equipment that you will need for this course (not needed for week 1)
A PAT tested sewing machine with a free-motion or darning foot. The ability to drop your machines feed dogs (Sewing machine feed dogs are metal teeth-like ridges that emerge from a hole in the throat plate of a sewing machine) and ideally to have had a little practice using your machine for free motion stitching ahead of the course.

You will also need to purchase a kit from Angela on the first evening. This will contain most of the specialist materials that you will need to produce your very own Long-tailed Tit and cost £7.
